If you happen to be in Chicago this February, drop by the Christkindlmarket at Union Station
The Nuremberg Christkindlmarket is a popular Christmas market that originated in Germany in the 1800s. Its roots lie with the German market of the same name and has now become one of Chicago’s most iconic festive traditions. Every year, there are stalls full of handmade gifts, mugs, schnitzels, and more. The original seasonal festival takes place on the plaza at Daley’s early November to December 31st and during the year a smaller family friendly version can be found in Wrigleyville.
