God is not a man, so He does not lie. He is not human so He does not change His mind. Has He ever spoken and failed to act? Has He ever promised and not carried it through? – Numbers 23:19
God is faithful. He never forgets His promises. He never fails to do what He said. He never falters or gets tired and weary. God never forfeits His words and never takes them back.
We will give an account to God when we meet Him. His evaluation of us will be based on how faithful we have been to Him and to what He has entrusted to us (Matthew 25:14-30).
He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much; and he who is unrighteous in a very little things is unrighteous also in much. – Luke 16:10
God is Faithful in Spite of Us
God loves us despite who we are. He loves us despite what we do. He loves us because He loves us (Deuteronomy 7:7). While we were still sinners, Jesus died for us.
God is Faithful in His Blessings
God faithful keeps His covenant to bless us, but His blessings come with a condition: to love Him and to keep His commandments (Deuteronomy 7:9). Not one of God’s promises has failed. He is faithful; the best is yet to come.
God is Faithful with His Judgment
God is also faithful with His judgment. Turning your back from God is the easiest way to destroy your life. When the Israelites willfully turned against Him, God even destroyed His chosen people. God can destroy those who hate Him.
What is Your Response?
God is patient, “not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9). He is faithful to forgive if we confess our sins (1 John 1:9). You need Jesus in your life as your Lord and Savior.
God will make you holy and keep you blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s coming. He will make this happen, for He who calls you is faithful (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24).
