Galatians 1:1

galatians 1:1

“Paul, an apostle, not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father, who raised him from the dead.” Galatians 1:1

Paul started writing the epistle with an acknowledgement that his apostleship wasn’t appointed to him by man, but by God Himself. This means that the power vested in his ministry was not drawn from mere human desire and will, but from the Lord. It denotes that in his every act of service, act of giving, act of sharing, and act of leadership in the church were solely done through the power of the Holy Ghost which was living in and through him. Its quite noticeable too that Paul put an emphasis on Jesus being raised from the dead. This distinguishes Jesus being the true and living God. When Paul was called by God, his life centered on Christ.

Child of God, be reminded that everything you are is but a result of God’s grace. This leaves you no room to boast of every soul you’ve won to the Lord, of every brethren you’ve prayed for and encouraged, and of every act you performed for the kingdom. In everything you do for God, precede it with prayer. Sincerely acknowledge that its God who works in and through you.

Perhaps you don’t understand yet how the Lord can possibly work through you, because you’ve never allowed Him to enter in your life once and for all. Jesus died on the cross for your sins, so that when you believe in Him, you no longer have to be punished in hell for them. Will you repent and ask Jesus to be the Lord of your life?
