In this era, blogging is one of the most effective ways to share knowledge, truths, experiences, testimonies in different places, people, perspectives and different time. There are thousands of reasons why people love to blog. Most of them are because they want to earn money and others, because of passion. Whatever reasons you may have, you are welcome in the world of blogging.

Last week I posted a simple question “Why do you blog?” in two different forum sites and asked some of my blogger friends. I was surprised and amazed by their answers. Here are some of their answers.

I never imagined that I will be passionate about blogging. Ever since struggled with English composition and I was not a good writer. I felt the urge to blog when I wrote my very first article which was my life’s testimony entitled “God’s Faithfulness in my Life”. From then on I committed to write my life’s story. Here are some of the reasons why I love to blog.

     #IT PRESERVES MEMORIES

Our life is like a flower that quickly fade.  As the song says, it is here today and gone tomorrow. Though our life is very short and we are face different trials, we cannot deny that it is colorful, exciting and wonderful.  As much as we want to remember the great events of our lives, sometimes our minds just can’t retain all of them. Most of the times we remember the feelings, but not the details. As years passed and everything changed, I just looked back and read my past articles to live them all over again.

     #IT BLESSES OTHERS

This blog is all about God’s faithfulness; and as I live on counting God’s blessings, I want to be a blessing to others, as well. As you read this article, you may not believe if I say that your life is a blessing to other.  You may not notice it or you may deny it; but let me tell you that if you just be true to yourself,  accept who you are and live life according to God’s will, you can be such a great blessing to all people.

     #IT INSPIRES PEOPLE

Just like mine, our life is full of ups and downs, problems, struggles, pains and heartaches. But what makes us human is that we stand up, face them all, overcome and learn from it. Just like what it is says in the Bible – No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind.- 1 Corinthians 10:13a. Never think that you have unique struggles or problems. Be open to them and I’m sure someone out there can relate with your struggles.

      #IT TESTIFIES OF GOD’S FAITHFULNESS

If I could summarize this blog in one word, it is “Faithfulness”. I faced various trials, overcame different problems in life and experienced brokenness, but I have a big God who never left me nor forsook me. He showered me with so much blessings that I didn’t deserve. Blogging was my way of telling people that it doesn’t matter how many times you fail, disobey God, and turned away from His love, what matters is God loves us unconditionally and He’s always waiting for us with open arms to come back to His presence again. My life is full of failures, struggles, sins, problems, doubts, fears, pride, and anger; but only God changed me and is continuously makes me the person that He wants me to be.

We all have different ways of telling other people about the faithfulness of God in our life. It may be in the form of speaking, through life testimony, or serving other people. Whatever it is, just do it out of your love for the Lord and not because of selfish desires or self-recognition. Serve God in a way that is pleasing to Him. We are called to advance His Kingdom while we are here on earth. What you are doing right now makes a big impact and addition to that big picture.
