5 Things I Learned from Being a Link Builder

It’s been almost a year since I graduated college and until now it didn’t sink in to me that I’m working and earning money for myself. At first, I still confuse where to go? What career to choose but thanks to SEO Hacker who guided me during my on-the-job training especially Ms. Nia. I remember she told me whenever I ask her about my work, learn to decide for yourself. Here I am now choosing to be here and let my young career grow as a Link Builder or a Link Development Specialist. Being exposed to links, webmasters and other technical things like Moz, Seoquake and many others gives me new experience and teach me some lessons that makes me a better person. These are the lessons that I learned from blog commenting, guest posting and forum posting.

Standard is a must

Being exposed to the technical side of link building and following certain standard in terms of domain authority, page authority and page rank teaches me to choose the things that will land to that standard. Quality over quantity, just like in friendship it’s okay to have few real friends rather that to be in a group of people who doesn’t treat you as sister. Standard in terms of the choices I’m taking because not everything should be taken.

Observe, Check and Set Goals

In terms of strategies, it is important to set your goals, observe the behavior of the client and lastly set goals for the month. As a Link builder it is important to set your goals and set of plan for the whole month. Just like in life, goals are our motivation stay focus and follow the plans that we created. I learned also to observe that things around me and check it whether it will lead me to the right path and become a better person.

Build Relationship

Guest posting is one of the effective way to gain a do follow link and traffic as well to the clients website. To be able to have a do follow link you have to talk to the webmaster and let him know that you’re real. Building relationship with them will result to trust that will allow you to be a regular contributor to his site. Just like in life we should build relationships to the people around us especially at work to gain their trust, it will lead to a healthy working environment and you will feel comfortable.

Time Management

I know as a Management student before I should have and perform it, but no during my college days I struggle managing my things to do as well as projects so I end up cramming at the last minute. My work as a link builder changes my habit; I learned to set plans and day to day efforts for the client. Having 13 to 15 clients is no joke, but with the right time management it can be done and finished at the right time.

Nothing is Impossible

With a company build with God as the foundation, I learned that everything is possible with him. I have been struggling with my spiritual life before but with the help of my team well I treat them as my second family, they helped me to be closer to God. It allows me to build a strong relationship with the Lord through prayers and I hope my family will understand the path I choose in terms of religion soon.

These are simple things that gave a great impact in my life. My work doesn’t give me living but lessons as well that make me a better person. SEO-Hacker let me explore my other capabilities and they let me grow and I should not stop from learning new things.
