Cebu Pacific, a low-cost airline based in the Philippines, announced that it will start flying to Singapore from two of its major hubs: Manila and Cebu.
This is another step in the company’s plan to expand its worldwide operations.
Since resuming service to important international destinations such as Bali, Indonesia; Hanoi, Vietnam; and Sydney, Australia, the airline has enjoyed record-setting success.
Next month, AirAsia Philippines will start flying twice daily from Manila and three times a week from Cebu. On July 1, it will add a morning flight option for its passengers.
Cebu Pacific, one of the Philippines’ major airlines, stated that flight 5J 813 is scheduled to leave Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 at 5:35 a.m., and arrive at Changi Airport at 9:20 a.m. Its return flight, 5J 814, is planned to depart from Singapore at 4:00 a.m.
On the other hand, the airline has confirmed that it will resume services between Cebu and Singapore every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
On July 15th, flight 5J 547 will depart Mactan Cebu International Airport Terminal 2 at 11:05 p.m., and arrive at Changi Airport by 3 a.m. the next day. Its return trip, 5J 548, leaves Singapore at 4 a.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays and arrives in Manila at 8:05 a.m.
XL Airways is proud to announce that it will increase international flight frequencies in Manila and Cebu. The airline’s chief commercial officer, Xander Lao, stated that they are happy to continue increasing the number of international flights from Manila and Cebu.
“We know majority of the travelling public have been looking forward to travel internationally again, especially since a lot of countries have eased their restrictions,” Lao said.
“We continue to work towards the expansion of our international network while we maintain operating over 100% of our pre-pandemic domestic capacity,” he added.
Filipinos who wish to visit Singapore are no longer required to take a pre-departure COVID 19 test, but they must produce proof of whole immunization (VaxCertPH or BOQ Yellow Card) and fill out a Singapore Arrival card three days before arrival.
